本季首度參與越界演出，曾任雲門舞集資深獨舞者，國立藝術學院舞蹈系畢業，現就讀國立台北藝術大學舞蹈系研究所。

1991年獲得ICRT「最佳年度舞蹈表演獎」，1997及2000年兩度被香港媒體譽為「年度最耀眼的舞者」之一。

專職表演之餘也嘗試舞蹈創作；1999年於漢唐樂府發表作品《狀態》，2000年於＜古名伸舞團＞之「狂想年代」糸列，與小劇場導演符宏征合作發表新作《我不想》，2000年為「卓庭竹/最完整的呈現」《女》之藝術顧問。2001年榮獲「國家文藝基金會」獎助金赴美研習進修。

目前為雲門舞集特約獨舞者。

This season is Wei-Ming’s Taipei Crossover debut. He was a principle dancer of Cloud Gate Dance Theater for 10 years, and is continuing a guest soloist in Cloud Gate’s repertoire. A graduate from the National Institute of the Arts, Wei-Ming is currently studying in the MFA in Dance program, Taipei University of the Arts. Wei-Ming Wang received “The Young Star Award” from the Taipei International Community Cultural Foundation in 1991, and was selected by Hong Kong media “Best Performer of The Year” in 1997 and, again, in 2000. He is a recipient of the “National Culture and Arts Foundation” fellowship.
